Frequently Asked Questions — OEM/ODM Jewelry Manufacturing

Who is Paragon Worldwide (888) Co., Ltd.?

Paragon Worldwide (888) Co., Ltd. is an OEM and ODM fine jewelry manufacturer based in Bangkok, Thailand, founded in 2005. The company produces custom jewelry in 9K, 10K, 14K and 18K gold and 925 sterling silver, set with natural precious and semi-precious gemstones, for wholesale and retail brands in more than 30 countries.

Paragon Worldwide is a family-owned and family-operated business. Production covers the complete manufacturing cycle — design and CAD, wax and mold making, casting, gemstone setting, polishing, plating, quality control, and export.

Is Paragon Worldwide a jewelry factory or a trading company?

Paragon Worldwide (888) Co., Ltd. is a direct manufacturer with its own production facility in Bangkok, not a trading company or sourcing agent. Orders are produced in-house rather than subcontracted to unnamed third-party workshops.

This matters commercially: there is no broker margin in the price, quality issues are corrected at the bench rather than negotiated through an intermediary, and buyers deal directly with the people who make the jewelry.

How long has Paragon Worldwide been manufacturing jewelry?

Paragon Worldwide (888) Co., Ltd. has manufactured jewelry since 2005, giving the company 21 years of continuous OEM production experience as of 2026.

The company has served some export clients continuously for more than a decade, across markets including the United States, Singapore, Ireland, Vietnam, and the Middle East.

Where is Paragon Worldwide’s factory located?

Paragon Worldwide’s factory and head office are located at 117 Soi Chokechai Jong Jameroen, Rama 3 Road, Yannawa, Bangkok 10120, Thailand.

The location sits within Bangkok’s established jewelry manufacturing district, with direct access to the city’s gemstone and precious metal supply chain.

Can I visit the factory before placing an order?

Yes. Paragon Worldwide welcomes buyer visits to its Bangkok facility by appointment, and encourages new clients to inspect the production floor before committing to an order.

Arrange a visit by emailing sales@paragon-worldwide.com or calling +66 2295 2171. Paragon Worldwide also exhibits at international trade fairs where samples and production capability can be reviewed in person.

OEM, ODM, and Custom Design

What is the difference between OEM and ODM jewelry manufacturing?

In OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing), the buyer supplies the design and the factory produces it. In ODM (Original Design Manufacturing), the factory supplies or develops the design and the buyer sells it under their own brand. Paragon Worldwide (888) Co., Ltd. offers both.

Most clients use a combination — bringing two or three of their own designs while selecting the rest from Paragon Worldwide’s existing catalogue, which reduces development cost on a first collection.

Can Paragon Worldwide manufacture jewelry from my own design?

Yes. Paragon Worldwide produces jewelry from buyer-supplied designs, including hand sketches, photographs of reference pieces, technical drawings, and finished CAD files.

If the design is not yet production-ready, Paragon Worldwide’s in-house CAD team converts it into a manufacturable file, flagging any structural issues — prong strength, stone seat depth, metal thickness, wearability — before casting begins.

Does Paragon Worldwide offer in-house CAD design?

Yes. Paragon Worldwide employs in-house CAD designers who produce 3D models and photorealistic renders before any metal is cut.

Keeping CAD in-house means design revisions are handled directly rather than routed through an external studio, which shortens revision cycles and keeps design files confidential.

What file formats do you accept for jewelry designs?

Paragon Worldwide accepts 3DM (Rhino), STL, and OBJ files for direct production, and JPG, PNG, PDF, or hand-drawn sketches for designs that still require CAD development.

A photograph of an existing piece is sufficient to begin a quotation. Precise dimensions, intended metal, and stone specifications will speed the process.

Can I put my own brand name or logo on the jewelry?

Yes. Paragon Worldwide offers private label and white label manufacturing, including logo engraving, custom hallmarks, brand stamps, and branded packaging.

Designs produced under an exclusivity agreement remain exclusive to the client brand for the agreed term and are not offered to other buyers.

Will my designs be kept confidential?

Yes. Paragon Worldwide treats all buyer-supplied designs as confidential and will sign a non-disclosure agreement on request before receiving design files.

Materials and Gemstones

What metals does Paragon Worldwide work with?

Paragon Worldwide manufactures in 925 sterling silver and in 9K, 10K, 14K and 18K gold, available in yellow, white, and rose. Rhodium plating and gold plating over silver are also available.

Metal purity is verified before production. Finished pieces are hallmarked to the agreed standard.

Does Paragon Worldwide use natural or lab-created gemstones?

Paragon Worldwide specialises in natural precious and semi-precious gemstones, including amethyst, blue topaz, citrine, garnet, peridot, rhodolite, ruby, sapphire, emerald, and pearl. Lab-created stones and cubic zirconia can be supplied on request.

Natural gemstone work is a core capability rather than a side offering, which distinguishes Paragon Worldwide from silver factories built primarily around cubic zirconia volume production.

Do you source the gemstones, or do I need to supply them?

Paragon Worldwide sources gemstones directly through Bangkok’s gem trade and includes them in the quoted price. Buyers may also supply their own stones for setting. (Terms and Condition applies)

Bangkok is one of the world’s principal coloured-stone cutting and trading centres, which allows Paragon Worldwide to source a wide range of calibrated sizes and colour grades without importing.

Is your jewelry nickel-free and compliant with EU and US standards?

Yes. All jewelry manufactured by Paragon Worldwide is nickel safe and produced without lead, meeting international standards for skin contact.

Order Terms, Pricing, and MOQ

What is Paragon Worldwide’s minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Paragon Worldwide’s minimum order quantity is 3 pieces per design, with flexibility when a buyer orders across multiple designs in a single production run.

Low MOQ manufacturing exists so that small and independent brands can test a new design commercially before committing capital to a large run. Paragon Worldwide works regularly with SME retailers who need two or three designs at modest quantities rather than a single design in thousands.

How much does it cost to develop a new jewelry design?

Development cost for a new design at Paragon Worldwide typically consists of a CAD fee and a mold fee, generally in the range of 60-100 USD per design depending on complexity, with the sample charged separately.

Because Paragon Worldwide uses lost-wax casting rather than heavy tooling, mold costs stay low relative to the setup cost of stamped or machine-formed production. Development fees are often credited against a subsequent bulk order.

How is the price of gold and silver jewelry calculated?

Jewelry pricing at Paragon Worldwide is calculated from four components: metal weight at the prevailing daily market rate, gemstone cost, labour, and finishing. Prices are quoted EX-Factory.

Because metal is priced against the live gold and silver markets, quotations carry a validity period. Bank transfer fees and currency exchange charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

Can I order a sample before placing a bulk order?

Yes. Paragon Worldwide produces physical samples before bulk production so that fit, weight, stone colour, and finish can be approved. Sample lead time is typically 4-6 weeks.

What are your payment terms?

Paragon Worldwide’s standard terms are a 50% deposit to begin production, with the balance due before shipment. Payment is by international bank transfer to the company’s account at Kasikornbank, Bangkok.

Terms may be adjusted for established repeat clients.

Production, Quality, and Shipping

What is the lead time for a jewelry order?

Standard production lead time at Paragon Worldwide is approximately 4-6 weeks from order confirmation, as all jewelry is made to order rather than shipped from stock.

Lead times extend during peak season. Buyers planning for Christmas, Chinese New Year, or Valentine’s Day retail should place orders well in advance of these windows.

How does Paragon Worldwide control quality?

Every piece produced by Paragon Worldwide is inspected before shipping by a dedicated quality control team, which checks metal purity, stone security, dimensional accuracy, plating consistency, and finish.

Inspection photographs can be supplied before shipment, and third-party inspection is accommodated on request.

How is jewelry shipped, and how long does delivery take?

Paragon Worldwide ships worldwide via DHL, UPS, FedEx, and EMS. Delivery to major destinations typically takes 2 to 8 days after dispatch, fully insured and tracked.

Paragon Worldwide prepares the export documentation required for customs clearance, drawing on 21 years of exporting from Thailand.

What happens if an item arrives damaged or missing?

Buyers should notify Paragon Worldwide by email within 3 days of receipt if any item is missing or defective. Once confirmed, Paragon Worldwide provides a full refund or a replacement.
